The story could use a bit more details, IMO.There is one part where it's easy to get stuck - in the cabaret, with the decorations. There's a bug, the system always tells you "something is missing" when nothing is missing - you just have to click the levers until they move.Also, apparently it's possible to "forget" (i.e. not being told) to pick up the stepladder after you use it. Apparently you can't go back if you forgot it.Get it if cheap, I wouldn't really spend more than 1 or 2 bucks on it.. game has microstutters because it has uncapped fps and runs at 200-500+ fps for no reasonitems are occasionally wrongly labeled or mislabeledbad map1/4. Pretty good game, yes it is little glitchy here and there, instructions are not always right but it wasn't game breaking for me. Visuals are beautiful and detailed, story is ok, decent puzzles and ho scenes, pretty much just like any other hog game just little more raw around the edges :)Oh and I'm missing any voice over in this game.. The core of the experience falls into the basic trappings of light puzzle solving and item hunts.. Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks is a nice family friendly H.O. Game.. ..provided you're aware of the game's fatal bugs and manage to avoid them. There is a guide giving precious tips on the subject. I strongly recommend to read what it says on the bugs subject if you plan to play this game and read it before playing, preferably ;). Besides several bugs/glitches which might result in slowing a bit your gameplay, there are at least 2 bugs preventing the player from going further in the story. You're definitely stuck if so. But it's possible to avoid them. It's sad to see those bugs were reported long ago but never fixed. Apart from that, if you're aware, Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks is a fair and nice HOG. The graphics are rather beautiful. The music is calm. It's worth a try. It's quite short though and it has little replayability value (all achievements can be triggered within a single playthrough), so I recommend to get it while on sale..
